Guests, Visitors & Flexible Licensing

Cloudairy’s licensing model is designed for collaboration. Unlike many tools that charge per user for everyone, Cloudairy offers free access for external collaborators through Guests and Visitors.

What Are Members?

Members are the paid seats on your workspace. They have full access to create, edit, and manage boards and are the only users who count toward your billing.

What Are Visitors?

Visitors are available on the Starter plan and above. They are external users who can view and edit boards without needing a paid seat. The Starter plan includes unlimited visitors with editing rights.

What Are Guests?

Guests are available on the Business and Enterprise plans. Like visitors, guests are free and do not count toward your member billing. Guests can be invited to specific boards or workspaces and have access defined by the workspace admin.

Comparison

  • Members (all plans): Full access, paid seats, count toward billing.

  • Visitors (Starter and above): External users with editing rights, free, unlimited.

  • Guests (Business and Enterprise): External collaborators, free, unlimited, admin-managed access.

Why This Matters

Many diagramming and collaboration tools charge for every user, making it expensive to involve clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders. Cloudairy’s model lets you include your entire extended team in cloud architecture discussions without worrying about per-seat costs.

Managing Guests and Visitors

Workspace admins can manage guests and visitors from the Members section in workspace settings. You can invite, remove, and set permissions for external collaborators at any time.
