Assigning Roles

Assign and manage roles for workspace and board members. Control their access level and permissions based on their responsibilities.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings and click "Workspace Users"

  2. Find the member whose role you want to change

  3. Click the "Role" dropdown next to their name

  4. Select a new role: Owner, Admin, Editor,Viewer

  5. Click "Update" or the change saves automatically

  6. The member will immediately have their new access level

  7. For board-specific roles, open the board and click "Share"

  8. Change individual board roles using the same dropdown method

Notes

  • Owner has complete control over the workspace and all settings

  • Admin can manage users and permissions but cannot delete the workspace

  • Editor can create, edit, and organize boards

  • Commenter can add feedback but cannot edit

  • Viewer can only view boards in read-only mode
